Planning Worksheet/ Website
Goals
Building a website is not as easy as it looks, it takes
time and planning at each phase. For a basic website fine tuned to your
specifications, the turnaround is typically two weeks, with you having provided
all of the necessary and images.
Please read through all of the following items to make sure that we're all on the same (web)
page!
What is the direction and reason for your
site? Who's your audience, what makes your product or service
different? Before we get started, pick out your three primary colors (any
more is usually a bit messy).

_____ Think about the groups, businesses, outreach that you want to
target your online business to.
_____ Will you be selling online (remember,
we offer the most secure pay plans out there with

Websites. If you're filling a niche, and need products to sell, ask me, I
can point you in the right direction for manufactured products. Otherwise, what
will you be selling, how many?
_____ Branding
these days is essential, putting a face on your products
with surveys, newsletters, promotional materials, viral marketing. It's about developing
the strongest internet presence that can get out to the mainstream.
_____ List the pages, and the name
of the pages.
_____ We give a free one year domain name (
www.yourname.com) with our
full packages, and six months free hosting.
_____ You'll need to get
together all of your graphics for the site, logo, resized images, videos,
or any content. Each page usually requires
five photos and at least 500 words.
_____ Make sure that you send
me at least three websites that you really love so I can get
a feel for your style. _____________________________________
Suggestions to think
about:
The most important aspect of web development happens in the early
stages. See me about a website tree, that is the layout for all of your
pages, what links will be on each page. From the old school, follow the KISS rule,
keep it simple sugar (you know, in lieu of the other word).
People typically only hang around for eight
seconds on each site, and they're off to the next one. It's a short window
of opportunity to grab 'em and stab 'em (I'm not violent). they only glance at a
site and they're quickly off to the next site. It's also much better to
have shorter pages and interesting links to other sites than your
visitor to have scroll down forever through a crammed up messy
site.

This site seems pretty exhaustive, royalty and copyright free, cute selections
and all the images are in the public domain. Have Fun!

We are a Web Design & Web Hosting Service
We are a web design and web hosting service, and can get
you up and running within two week for a basic site. If, however, you chose
not to host with us, but you want us to maintain your site, we charge a one-time
$40.00 setup fee. We do this because it is time consuming to download your site,
and get it set up without the benefit of actually hosting it. Most other
companies also charge additional setup fees if the client has not committed to
hosting.
Please indicate if you have a current web hosting service. If not, we can
easily get you up by requesting your host point your servers in our direction.

When you host with Mediarightads, you get free web statistics to see just
how many visitors your site is attracting at what times, and what days. We also
provide free content, and access to many other great resources to make your
